THE DIFFERENCE IN POUNDS

A better time to buy
the same energy.

Charging a battery at a lower rate can reduce the energy cost of supplying your home later. Here is the example from the film.

Example tariffs only: 10p/kWh off-peak and 30p/kWh peak, with 90% battery round-trip efficiency. Excludes standing charges, battery purchase, installation and wear. Actual savings vary.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

About iHelios Energy Hub

iHelios Energy Hub brings compatible solar, battery storage, EV charging and invisible infrared heating into one connected home energy view. You choose the schedules, temperature settings and automation rules.

What does iHelios Energy Hub control?

It brings compatible solar, battery storage, EV charging, infrared heating and selected smart devices together. Available monitoring and controls depend on the devices, supported integrations and configuration installed in your home.

Can I schedule charging around cheaper electricity?

You can set compatible battery and EV charging schedules around lower-cost periods on your electricity tariff. The outcome depends on your tariff, available battery capacity, charging equipment and household demand.

Can I control infrared heating room by room?

Yes. With compatible controls, you can set individual room temperatures and heating schedules, and configure rules to reduce heating while you are away.

How much could a battery reduce my energy costs?

The film illustrates 10 kWh delivered at a 30p/kWh peak rate costing £3.00, compared with approximately £1.11 when charged at 10p/kWh with 90% round-trip efficiency. The £1.89 difference excludes standing charges, battery purchase, installation and wear. It is an example, not a guaranteed saving.

Can I try iHelios Energy Hub before deciding?

Yes. Use the interactive demo link on this page to explore a sample connected home. Demonstration values are illustrative, not readings from your property.
